Our campground is just down the street from Tahquamenon Falls, Oswald’s Bear Ranch, and the Tahquamenon Logging Museum, and within an hour or so from Mackinac Island, Soo Locks, Pictured Rocks, and Kitch-iti-kipi. The Manistique Railroad Car Ferry Dock Remains are temporarily closed, but still a visible historic viewing site near the Manistique River. No, it is not a kinky itch you might have contracted in the 70’s, but the name of an emerald green pool near Manistique in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
